Its time to Make Philly Foie Gras Free

  • Picture this: a metal tube is shoved down the throats of ducks and geese. They're pumped full of a mix of cornmeal and fat multiple times a day, until their livers become diseased. This process is called gavage. After spending their lives in cramped cages full of misery, these birds are then killed and their liver is sold as a 'delicacy' in restaurants.

We want to put a stop to this practice. One way to get there is to stop considering it food and selling it in restaurants in Philadelphia. We are targeting restaurants by protesting and through contact storms. Please join us by checking Instagram/Facebook for upcoming protests and actions OR send us an email!

Eventually, we will also work with the City Council of Philadelphia to enact a city-wide ban on the production and sale of Foie Gras.

This is an uphill battle, and you can support us by joining in at protests, contacting restaurants that serve Foie Gras, and even reaching out to your Council Member.

And if you are an ethical business or restaurant please sign our pledge below to never sell or promote Foie Gras on your menu

Foie Gras is not food, it’s violence.

Together, we can create a better world for animals, ourselves and future generations.
